Heavily-tatted Ohio man jailed after stray gunfire from his property allegedly struck 2 shoppers at nearby Kroger

A shocking incident unfolded in Ohio when a heavily-tattooed man, Jayson Hall, was arrested for accidentally shooting two shoppers at a Kroger store in Maineville. The chaos ensued when stray gunfire from Hall’s property hit two individuals inside the grocery store’s lobby around 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

The victims were quickly taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, while a bullet hole was discovered in one of the store’s sliding glass doors. Police confirmed that the shooting was unintentional, causing the Kroger store to close temporarily as surrounding streets were blocked off for investigation.

Hall, adorned with tattoos, was apprehended shortly after the incident and now faces charges of two counts of assault, two counts of negligent assault, one count of inducing panic, and one count of improperly discharging a firearm. He is currently detained at the Warren County Jail.
