This was a very tough experience for my family. My husband and my two kids were incredibly supportive throughout this ordeal. They had to deal with the stress and uncertainty of the situation, not knowing what the outcome would be. I do feel a sense of vindication now that the charges are being dismissed. It has been a long and difficult journey, but I always believed in my innocence and the truth eventually coming to light. What are your plans now that this chapter of your life is coming to a close?

Now that this chapter of my life is coming to a close, I plan to focus on rebuilding and moving forward. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue growing the Wondery podcast network and to put this behind me. I also hope to raise awareness about the impact of wrongful prosecutions on individuals and businesses, and work towards preventing similar situations in the future.

After going back and forth over the weekends, I wanted those involved to understand an important lesson – that being accused does not automatically mean being guilty. The presumption of innocence is a crucial aspect of our legal system, and it means that we should not jump to conclusions or prejudge someone based on allegations. Ultimately, the truth will come to light.

This experience has had a profound impact on me. Growing up in Argentina under a military dictatorship, I was accustomed to the idea that where there’s smoke, there’s fire. However, I have learned to be more cautious in my judgments and not to assume guilt too quickly. This shift in perspective has been one of the most significant positives to come out of this ordeal.

Now that the legal troubles are behind me, I have launched a research and consulting firm called Owl & Co. in early 2024. This new venture allows me to focus on a different path and utilize my skills and expertise in a positive and productive way.

Moving forward, I am excited to see where this new chapter takes me. The challenges I have faced have only made me stronger and more determined to succeed. I am grateful for the opportunity to start fresh and make a positive impact in my work.
