Honor MagicOS 10 Free Smartphone Update Rolling Out Now

Honor has recently unveiled its comprehensive smartphone update roadmap for the MagicOS 10 update. MagicOS 10 is Honor’s custom Android 16-based UI, which has been gradually rolling out to newer and higher-end devices over the past couple of months. Now, Honor is extending the update to its older and more affordable smartphones and tablets.

The company took to social media to announce the full MagicOS 10 update schedule, which spans from October to April of next year. This roadmap outlines when each Honor device will receive the Android 16 update with MagicOS 10.

In Europe, Honor has already updated devices like the Honor Magic 7 Pro and the Honor Magic V5 to MagicOS 10. The next phase of the rollout is set to begin in January 2026, with devices such as the Honor Magic 6 RSR, Honor Magic 6 Pro, and Honor Magic V3 receiving the update.

Moving into February, the update will be pushed to devices like the Honor Magic 5 Pro and the Honor MagicPad 2. In March, Honor will update devices like the Honor Magic V2, Honor Magic V2 RSR, Honor Magic Vs, Honor 200 Pro, Honor 200, Honor 400 Smart, and Honor Pad X8a.

The update plan will conclude in April, with devices like the Honor Magic 8 Lite, Honor Magic 7 Lite, Honor 400 Lite, Honor 200 Lite, Honor X6b, Honor Pad X9a, Honor Pad V9, and Honor Pad 10 receiving the MagicOS 10 update.

For users outside of Europe, Honor has provided region-specific update schedules on their original Facebook post. Stay tuned for these updates as Honor continues to enhance its devices with the latest software features and improvements.
