Netflix Announces Exciting Lineup of Upcoming Shows and Movies

Netflix is gearing up for the highly anticipated sequel to the hit action-comedy “Mission: Cross.” The sequel, titled “Mission: Cross 2,” will see the return of stars Hwang Jung-min and Yum Jung-ah as they embark on another thrilling adventure. The original film was a massive success, topping Netflix’s Global Top 10 Movies (Non-English) chart shortly after its release in 2024.

Writer-director Lee Myung-hoon is back to helm “Mission: Cross 2,” which follows a national treasure heist recovery operation. Hwang reprises his role as Kang-mu, a former special ops agent tasked with recovering a stolen national treasure. Yum returns as Mi-seon, a former athlete turned detective who joins Kang-mu on the mission.

The ensemble cast for “Mission: Cross 2” includes new additions such as Yoon Kyung-ho, Im Seong-jae, Cha In-pyo, and Kim Kuk-hee. The sequel promises to deliver the same level of action and excitement as its predecessor.

In addition to “Mission: Cross 2,” Netflix has also announced the premiere date for the mystery thriller series “The Price of Confession.” Starring Jeon Do-yeon, the series follows a woman accused of murder and her encounter with a mysterious stranger in prison.

“The Price of Confession” promises to be a gripping psychological thriller, with Jeon Do-yeon and Kim Go-eun in leading roles. The series is set to premiere on December 5 and is sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

Netflix Japan has also announced the release dates for two exciting titles coming in December: “10Dance,” a dance film, and “Badly in Love,” an unscripted dating series.

“10Dance” follows the story of two competitive dancers named Shinya and is set to premiere on December 18. Directed by Keishi Otomo, the film promises to be a captivating tale of love and rivalry in the world of competitive dance.

“Badly in Love” launches on December 9 and follows 11 former delinquents as they participate in a 14-day dating experiment. The series culminates in a graduation ceremony where participants must confess their feelings to their chosen romantic interest.

With an exciting lineup of shows and movies, Netflix is set to end 2025 on a high note. Fans can look forward to these new releases and more on the streaming platform.
