Influencer Dutchess Dior found dead after post pleading for ‘help’

A tragic incident unfolded in Twin City, Georgia, as a social media influencer, Zaria Khadejah Carr, was found dead in her home after posting a distressing message on Facebook. The 27-year-old, known as Duchess Dior to her 35,000 followers, begged for help in her final post before her untimely death. Her husband, Shamarcus Jameal Carr, also met a tragic end as he took his own life as police closed in on him hours later.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation responded to a domestic disturbance call at the Carr residence around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, where they discovered Zaria’s lifeless body. Earlier that evening, Zaria had shared a heartbreaking plea for assistance on her influencer page, expressing her fear of losing her life or freedom. The situation took a dark turn when Shamarcus, a dog breeder known as “the Frenchman” online, was nowhere to be found, along with Zaria’s missing Dodge Challenger.

Authorities located the vehicle in Wayne County, 80 miles south of Twin City, just before 11 p.m. However, when sheriff’s deputies attempted to stop it, Shamarcus tragically shot himself before they could apprehend him. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after.

Sources revealed that Shamarcus was the man behind the popular “the Frenchman” Facebook account, which had a substantial following of 44,000 users. His page showcased his life as a French bulldog breeder and featured photos of maternity shoots with Zaria, known as Duchess Dior. The circumstances surrounding Zaria’s death remain unclear as investigations into the couple’s tragic demise are still ongoing.
