Influencer used fire-damaged Palisades mansion to lure and rape women: cops

Hip-hop influencer Clinton Adams has been arrested for allegedly using an abandoned mansion in the Pacific Palisades to lure and rape multiple women. The self-proclaimed influencer, known by his Instagram handle “Clintnlord,” is facing three counts of forcible rape and assault for incidents that occurred on Jun. 29, Aug. 7, and Aug. 8.

According to law enforcement sources, Adams told the women that he owned the house, convincing them to come to the property where he allegedly assaulted them. The mansion had been evacuated by its owners due to smoke damage, making it an ideal location for Adams to carry out his alleged crimes.

Detective Brett Hopkins of the LAPD stated, “The homeowners did not give him permission to be in their home. He was transient when we arrested him.” Adams, who has almost 400 thousand followers on Instagram, used his social media presence to portray a lavish lifestyle and gain the trust of his victims.

Police believe that there may be more victims who have not yet come forward, and they have released Adams’ picture in hopes of identifying them. Adams’ Instagram page showcases him attending music industry events and performing shirtless, while his YouTube channel features music videos for his songs “Anarchy” and “Dirty Dancing.”

Since his arrest on November 19th, Adams has been behind bars awaiting trial. The case has shocked the hip-hop community and serves as a reminder of the dangers that can come from trusting influencers who may not have the best intentions.
