‘Interview with the Vampire’ Season 3 Teaser: 5 New Actors Join

The highly anticipated third season of “Anne Rice’s Interview With the Vampire” made a grand entrance at San Diego Comic-Con’s Ballroom 20, with the rockstar Lestat taking center stage. The cast and crew gave fans an exclusive sneak peek backstage, showcasing star Sam Reid’s electrifying performance as the vampire Lestat.

During the panel, five new cast members were announced, including Jennifer Ehle, Ella Ballentine, Jeanine Serralles, Christopher Heyerdahl, and Damien Atkins. Additionally, fan-favorites Delainey Hayles and Assad Zaman will be returning to the series.

The audience was treated to three minutes of footage from the upcoming season, featuring intense conversations between characters, boardroom confrontations, and, of course, plenty of blood. The panel also revealed details about the new series “Anne Rice’s Talamasca,” set to premiere on Oct. 26. Eric Bogosian, who plays Daniel Molloy, will guest star in the new show, creating a crossover experience for fans.

Speaking about his character’s involvement with the Talamasca, Bogosian shared, “The Talamasca has been living on the edges of Daniel Molloy’s consciousness, and now he’s found out that they are pulling him deeper into their world.”

The crew and cast members, including Reid, Bogosian, and Jacob Anderson, along with executive producer Mark Johnson and showrunner Rolin Jones, teased more details about the season at the Comic-Con Variety Studio. Assuring fans that Louis will still play a significant role despite the focus on Lestat, Anderson revealed, “There’s way more Louis in our show than there is in the book.”

Reid also discussed the challenge of embodying the rockstar Lestat, combining music with the character’s journey. He mentioned, “Layering Rolin’s work on top of composer Daniel Hart’s work is quite challenging. They’re very different, but they both have a singular vision. Sometimes I feel like I get caught up in the middle of the whirlwind of the two of them, but I think that works perfectly for a start. He’s all chaos, all the time.”

Overall, the panel and sneak peeks left fans buzzing with excitement for the upcoming season of “Anne Rice’s Interview With the Vampire” and the new series “Anne Rice’s Talamasca.” Google TV presented the Comic-Con Variety Studio, where these exciting details were shared with eager fans.
