‘It’s Florida, Man’ Renewed for Season 3 at HBO
HBO has officially renewed its hit late-night comedy series “It’s Florida, Man” for a highly anticipated third season, as confirmed by the network on Friday.
Produced by Rough House Pictures, the same team behind popular shows like “Eastbound & Down” and “The Righteous Gemstones,” “It’s Florida, Man” takes real news stories from the Sunshine State and transforms them into humorous sketches featuring a rotating cast of actors and comedians. Viewers can expect to see real Floridians sharing their firsthand experiences of viral incidents, which are then hilariously recreated on screen.
Nina Rosenstein, the executive vice president of HBO Programming, Late Night & Specials, expressed her excitement for the upcoming season, stating, “Season three is just more proof that Florida remains undefeated. There’s no shortage of wild-but-true stories and an incredible cast of actors game enough to bring them to life.”
Executive producer Danny McBride also chimed in, praising Florida for its endless array of bizarre and captivating material. “Every time we think the stories can’t get any wilder, Florida proves us wrong,” he remarked.
The show’s second season boasted an impressive lineup of guest stars, including Adam DeVine, Tiffany Haddish, Haley Joel Osment, Bert Kreischer, Johnny Knoxville, Taika Waititi, and Rita Ora, among others.
Created and executive produced by Mark Herwick for Range Studios and Jeff Tomsic, who also serves as the director, “It’s Florida, Man” is described as a “love letter to the beaches, backwaters, and basements of a misunderstood yet magical state.”
For those eager to catch up on the series, the first two seasons are currently available for streaming on HBO Max.
Fans can look forward to more outrageous and entertaining adventures from the wacky world of Florida when the third season of “It’s Florida, Man” premieres. Stay tuned for more updates on this beloved late-night comedy show!
