The Bureau of Labor Statistics announced on Wednesday that the January jobs report, delayed by the recent government shutdown, will now be released on Feb. 11, five days later than originally scheduled.

The revised schedule also includes a delay in the release of the Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey, which will now be published on Thursday instead of the initial Tuesday date.

Additionally, the consumer price index for January is set to be released on Feb. 13, two days later than its original release date, along with a companion release that calculates real earnings facing the same delay.

Economists surveyed by Dow Jones are anticipating the nonfarm payrolls report to reveal a gain of 60,000 jobs in January, following a 50,000 increase in December. The report is also expected to show that the unemployment rate remained steady at 4.4%.

Earlier on Wednesday, the payrolls processing firm ADP reported that companies added only 22,000 jobs in January.
