Jimmy Kimmel accused of lying again about casting blame for Charlie Kirk assassination

Jimmy Kimmel Faces Accusations of Lying Again

Jimmy Kimmel is once again under fire for alleged lies during his late-night return. This time, he is being accused of falsely claiming he never intended to blame any political faction for the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Kimmel stated during his Tuesday night monologue, “It was never my intention to make light of the murder of a young man.” He further added, “Nor was it my intention to blame any specific group for the actions.”

Despite his recent statements, just last week, Kimmel directly tied Kirk’s murder to conservatives, specifically calling out the “MAGA gang” during his monologue on September 15th.

The sudden reversal in Kimmel’s stance has led to criticisms and accusations that he is trying to save his own career after his show was briefly pulled off the air by ABC.

Critics Speak Out

Andrew Kolvet, executive producer of “The Charlie Kirk Show,” criticized Kimmel’s apology as “not good enough” and posted a suggested apology that Kimmel should have delivered. Kolvet called out Kimmel as a “liar” who smeared millions of Americans mourning Kirk’s assassination.

Scott Jennings also joined the criticism, accusing Kimmel of misleading the public and making light of the situation.

Despite the backlash, Kimmel has not issued a formal apology, leading to further condemnation from individuals like Dana Loesch and Piers Morgan.

The Post has reached out to ABC and Disney for comments on the matter.
