After Labor Day, the late-night host is scheduled to make a comeback on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” However, he became aware of Trump’s recent social media attack, where Trump implied that Kimmel’s show would suffer the same fate as Stephen Colbert’s canceled “Late Show.”
Trump expressed disdain for those he believes have “absolutely NO TALENT,” who were paid millions for supposedly ruining what was once considered excellent television. He took pleasure in Colbert’s show being canceled by CBS, a network seeking approval from Trump’s Federal Communications Commission for an $8 billion merger.
Kimmel didn’t take Trump’s warning lightly and responded with a clever retort on Instagram. “I’m hearing you’re next,” Kimmel wrote. “Or maybe it’s just another wonderful secret.”
