Larry Summers kicked out by prestigious economics group over Jeffrey Epstein ties: report
Former US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers has been severed from his association with The National Bureau of Economic Research, as reported by the Wall Street Journal on Monday, citing an email from the research institution’s president.
This disassociation from NBER is the latest consequence for Summers following his connections with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Last month, Summers announced his decision to step down from his teaching position at Harvard University by the end of the academic year, after being handed a lifetime ban by The American Economic Association.
