Las Vegas woman Allysandra Blea fatally shoots boyfriend while modeling with gun during photoshoot
A tragic incident unfolded in Las Vegas recently when a young woman, Allysandra Blea, was arrested for the murder of her boyfriend, Mark Gaughan. The incident occurred during an impromptu photoshoot at their home, where Blea was posing with a firearm. The gun accidentally discharged, fatally striking Gaughan in the neck.
Authorities responded to a 911 call reporting the shooting, and despite efforts to save him, Gaughan was pronounced dead at the scene. The police found Polaroid photos of Blea posing with a gun and another girl brandishing a knife at the scene.
Blea was charged with Open Murder with a Deadly Weapon and arrested on August 26. During the investigation, it was revealed that Blea had a disturbing fascination with firearms. Messages and images from her social media accounts indicated her enthusiasm for guns and building an arsenal. In one message, she expressed a desire to shoot people with real guns and get away with it.
Further conversations with Gaughan revealed chilling plans to shoot someone in the tunnels, with Blea suggesting that if they only did it once a night, the police would remain clueless. The police noted that Blea appeared to have knowledge and experience with firearms.
Blea appeared in court with a public defender and was formally charged with murder by Judge Nancy Bernstein. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 2. This tragic incident serves as a reminder of the dangers associated with firearms and the importance of gun safety education.
