Let’s Play Chef Sets Italian Premiere
BBC Studios is gearing up for the Italian premiere of “Bluey at the Cinema: Let’s Play Chef Collection” at the Rome Film Festival’s Alice nella Città sidebar on October 18. This special compilation features eight episodes from the popular Australian animated children’s series “Bluey,” including fan favorites like Takeaway, Fancy Restaurant, Omelette, and Duck Cake.
Following its premiere, the one-hour compilation will be released nationwide in Italy on October 30, before making its way to theaters in Germany, France, and Benelux. The series, created by Joe Brumm and produced by Ludo Studio for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, has been a hit internationally and is co-commissioned by ABC Children’s and BBC Studios Kids & Family.
Cecilia Persson, Managing Director of BBC Studios Kids & Family, expressed excitement about bringing “Bluey” to the big screen in Italy, highlighting the joy and laughter the series brings to families. The collaboration between Piece of Magic Entertainment and Vue Lumière has helped bring this special compilation to audiences around the world.
As fans eagerly await the release of the first “Bluey” feature film, scheduled for August 6, 2027, the anticipation continues to grow. BBC Studios and Walt Disney Studios have joined forces to create a CG-animated film that is sure to delight audiences of all ages.
