‘Life After Lockup’ star accused of assaulting her husband at vacation rental: ‘Can’t NOTHING break me!’

Reality television star Zeruiah Jones, known for her appearances on “Life After Lockup” and “Love After Lockup,” found herself in hot water in Florida after a heated altercation with her husband. The incident unfolded at a vacation rental where Zeruiah allegedly hit her spouse and threatened him with a knife following a petty argument.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the 33-year-old reality star lost her cool while scrolling on her husband’s phone in bed. She reportedly struck him multiple times before storming out of the bedroom and grabbing a knife from the kitchen. Fortunately, other family members staying at the Airbnb intervened and prevented Zeruiah from escalating the situation further.

Although her husband was not physically harmed, authorities deemed it necessary to arrest Zeruiah for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor battery. The case was classified as a domestic violence incident due to the couple being married and sharing two children together.

Zeruiah, who is married to Troy Jones, was released on a $2,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on January 26. The couple tied the knot in 2021 and had been in West Palm Beach for a family trip and filming for their reality show during the Christmas holiday.

Troy, who previously served time for criminal possession and attempted robbery, defended his wife against the allegations on social media. He urged fans to disregard the rumors and insisted that Zeruiah did not attack him with a knife. Despite the tumultuous situation, the couple expressed their love for each other and their commitment to overcoming the legal challenges ahead.
