Lili Reinhart Reveals Endometriosis Diagnosis, Undergoes Surgery

Lili Reinhart’s revealing she was finally told she has endometriosis after undergoing surgery — a hard-won answer that came only after years of doctors brushing her off.

In an IG post, the actress shared pics from the hospital after her laparoscopic surgery, explaining she’d seen multiple specialists and visited three hospitals, yet not one doctor mentioned endometriosis. Instead, she was misdiagnosed with interstitial cystitis last year.

It wasn’t until she saw two different pelvic floor therapists that endometriosis was even considered as a possible cause of her pain, prompting her to request an MRI which led to the correct diagnosis.

She’s grateful she followed her instincts, mentioning that there’s usually a significant gap between experiencing symptoms of endometriosis and receiving a surgical diagnosis.

Lili is using her platform to raise awareness for other women dealing with similar struggles, showcasing strength and positivity even from her hospital bed on IG.
