Fans of “The Lincoln Lawyer” can rejoice as the popular Netflix legal drama has been renewed for a fifth season ahead of the launch of its fourth season. The upcoming fourth season, based on Michael Connelly’s novel “The Law of Innocence,” is set to debut on February 5. Season 5 will be based on the novel “Resurrection Walk” and will consist of 10 episodes.
Co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez expressed their excitement for the upcoming seasons, stating, “Season Four is the most challenging and intensely personal journey we’ve taken Mickey Haller on yet, and we’re thrilled and grateful to be able to continue the ride in Season Five!”
The official logline for Season 4 teases a gripping storyline as Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia Rulfo) and his team work tirelessly to prove his innocence in the murder of a former client, Sam Scales. The season will see them unravel Sam’s final scam, leading to a showdown with the DA’s office, the FBI, and ghosts from Mickey’s past.
Joining Garcia Rulfo in Season 4 are Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, and Cobie Smulders. The series was created for television by David E. Kelley, with Humphrey and Rodriguez serving as executive producers and co-showrunners. Other executive producers include Connelly, Ross Fineman, Barry Jossen, Tana Jamieson, and Matthew J Lieberman, with A+E Studios producing.
According to Netflix, “The Lincoln Lawyer” has garnered 171 million views across its three seasons, with the show collectively spending 26 weeks in the Netflix global top 10 chart.
Fans can look forward to the thrilling fourth season of “The Lincoln Lawyer” on February 5 and anticipate the continuation of the story in Season 5 based on the novel “Resurrection Walk.”
