Lisa Marie Presley Estate Drama: Priscilla Faces New Accusations
Priscilla Presley, the former business partners of Priscilla Presley, Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko, have made shocking allegations against her. They claim that Priscilla withdrew medical care from her daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, before her tragic death. According to court documents filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Priscilla allegedly made the decision to “pull the plug” on Lisa after she was admitted to the hospital following a cardiac arrest in January 2023. Lisa, who was 54 years old at the time, was Priscilla’s only child with the legendary Elvis Presley.
The lawsuit filed by Kruse and Fialko accuses Priscilla of going against Lisa’s wishes to “prolong her life” in an attempt to gain control of Elvis’ estate. They claim that Priscilla was aware that Lisa was planning to remove her as the sole trustee of her irrevocable life insurance trust. The plaintiffs also allege that Priscilla pressured Kruse to issue a statement to the media immediately after Lisa’s death in order to control the narrative.
In response to these allegations, Priscilla’s attorney, Martin D. Singer, vehemently denied the claims, calling the lawsuit “shameful, ridiculous, salacious, and meritless.” Singer stated that the lawsuit was a retaliatory move against Priscilla for her previous legal action against Kruse and Fialko.
This is not the first legal battle involving Priscilla and her former business associates. In July 2024, Priscilla sued Kruse, Fialko, and two others for financial elder abuse, claiming that they had orchestrated a scheme to take control of her finances and exploit her for their own gain.
The plaintiffs’ attorney, Jordan Matthews, maintained that there was no evidence of wrongdoing on their part and that their business partnership with Priscilla was legitimate and well-documented. Singer continued to defend Priscilla, stating that accusing a grieving mother of contributing to her daughter’s death was malicious and unfounded.
Despite the legal turmoil, Priscilla’s relationship with her granddaughter, Riley Keough, seems to be on the mends. Following a dispute over Lisa Marie’s will, Riley and Priscilla reportedly settled out of court. Riley expressed her admiration for her grandmother in a Vanity Fair profile, acknowledging Priscilla’s role in preserving Elvis’ legacy at Graceland.
In the midst of these legal battles and family dynamics, the legacy of Elvis Presley continues to be a point of contention and reconciliation for those closest to him. The truth behind these allegations and lawsuits remains to be seen as the legal process unfolds.
