Lisa Rinna Says She Was Drugged With Fentanyl at Traitors Party
Lisa Rinna recently made headlines after revealing that she believes she was drugged at “The Traitors” Season 4 premiere party in January. During an appearance on “Good Day New York,” Rinna disclosed to hosts Jerry O’Connell and Rosanna Scotto that she had fentanyl and amphetamines in her system following the event, which took place at The Abbey in West Hollywood. TMZ initially reported that Rinna suspected she had been roofied with something at the party, with her co-star Colton Underwood expressing concern about her state and alerting Rinna’s team. Grateful for her husband Harry Hamlin’s support, Rinna left the party feeling thankful for his assistance.
When asked by the hosts if she was certain she had been roofied, Rinna affirmed, “Yes, I was. I had fentanyl in my system.” She went on to share that she underwent testing post-party, revealing, “I’m not kidding. I had fentanyl, high levels of amphetamines, and other substances. But I can’t divulge much more at this time as we are still addressing the situation. It was leaked, and my team is currently handling it.”
A seasoned actress who has appeared in popular shows like “Days of Our Lives” and “Melrose Place,” Rinna has also made a name for herself in reality television, starring in shows such as “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and “Dancing With the Stars.” Selected as one of the traitors on Season 4 of the Peacock series, Rinna found herself embroiled in drama with her co-stars, particularly with Colton Underwood and Rob Rausch from “Love Island.” The season finale is set to air on Thursday night, concluding the intense competition among the contestants.
Reflecting on the incident of alleged drugging, Rinna expressed her concerns about the prevalence of such incidents at The Abbey, stating, “So many people that I know have had this happen at the Abbey. All my daughter’s friends. I mean, this is not a first-time thing. This is something that’s gone on for years. And I do think it needs to be a conversation. And I’m glad now that it’s out and we will deal with it. I just haven’t had my own time to do that yet.”
The issue of drugging at social events is a serious matter that needs to be addressed, and Rinna’s experience sheds light on the importance of raising awareness about such incidents. As she continues to navigate through this challenging situation, Rinna remains hopeful that her story will spark conversations and lead to necessary changes in ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals attending public gatherings.
