Lyrical Media New CEO: Jonathan Faust

Lyrical Media, a prominent media company, has recently appointed Jonathan Faust, a former executive at The North Road Company, as its new chief financial officer. Faust’s role at Lyrical will involve overseeing the company’s financial operations across various entertainment sectors, including film, television, video games, animation, graphic novels, and venture investing. He will be instrumental in evaluating new opportunities, developing strategic initiatives, managing financial planning, and collaborating with the company’s leadership on ongoing projects and investments.

Prior to joining Lyrical, Faust held key positions at The North Road Company, where he was responsible for business development, operations, and strategic planning. With a background in financial planning and analysis, Faust has also worked at Words + Pictures and Skydance Media, showcasing his extensive experience in the media industry.

Lyrical Media, founded by CEO Alexander Black in 2021, has an exciting lineup of upcoming projects, including films like “Onslaught” by Adam Wingard, “The Death of Robin Hood” starring Hugh Jackman, Jodie Comer, and Bill Skarsgård, and “The Young People” directed by Osgood Perkins. The company is also adapting popular literary works into film and TV series, such as Emily Henry’s “Funny Story,” Brynne Weaver’s “Butcher & Blackbird,” and Lauren Roberts’ “Powerless.”

In addition to its film and TV ventures, Lyrical Media has recently ventured into the gaming industry with the launch of Lyrical Games, a privately funded game publisher focused on supporting indie game creators. This expansion aligns with the company’s vision of storytelling across multiple platforms.

CEO Alexander Black expressed his excitement about Faust joining the team, citing his strategic insight and operational expertise as valuable assets for scaling Lyrical’s creative endeavors. Faust, in turn, shared his admiration for Lyrical’s commitment to original storytelling and expressed his goal of aligning financial strategies to support the team in delivering impactful narratives to audiences worldwide.

Faust’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment for Lyrical Media, as the company continues to push boundaries and innovate in the entertainment industry. His contribution is expected to further fuel the company’s growth and advance its mission of championing creator-driven storytelling in the digital age.
