Maggie Haberman Spots Trump Supporter Revolt In Most Surprising Place

Haberman noted that while recent job numbers and stock market gains provide some positive news for the Trump administration, some of the president’s claims about reduced prices do not align with reality.
She found it “interesting” that in a video shared online, many responses to Trump’s posts about prices were along the lines of “Not where I live.”
She observed that posts on the president’s platform are usually very supportive of him. However, there seems to be a limit to how much he can claim about prices before his own supporters start to doubt him, even though he appears to believe his own statements.
Collins concurred with Haberman, mentioning that she has a Truth Social account to monitor the president’s statements. She noted that users of Truth Social are typically Trump supporters.
Haberman added that she had not seen such pushback on Trump’s statements before, although there were still some positive responses. Several comments indicated that the price reductions Trump mentioned were not reflected in their own experiences.
