Male blood found where 3 sisters in Washington were killed, while search for their father continues

Blood of Man Found Near Campsite Where Three Sisters Were Found Dead, Manhunt Continues for Father
Blood discovered near a Washington state campsite where three young sisters were found dead last week belonged to a man, authorities revealed. The search for Travis Decker, 32, their Army veteran father, who failed to return the girls – Paityn, 9, Evelyn, 8, and Olivia, 5 – to his ex-wife after a scheduled custody visit on May 30, continues.
The bodies of the girls were found three days later at a campground in Wenatchee, roughly three hours east of Seattle. They were found with plastic bags over their heads and their wrists zip-tied. Decker’s abandoned truck was also discovered at the scene with two bloody handprints on the tailgate.
Tests conducted on blood samples taken from the scene revealed that the blood belonged to a male, while another sample was identified as being from an animal. Decker’s dog was found alive at the scene and later taken to the humane society for care. The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office did not provide further details on the blood samples.
Autopsy results confirmed that the girls had been suffocated. The manhunt for Decker, a former soldier with extensive survival skills, is ongoing. He has been charged with murder, kidnapping, and a federal charge of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
As the investigation continues, authorities are urging anyone with information on Decker’s whereabouts to come forward. The community remains shocked and saddened by the tragic loss of the three young sisters.
