Man, 25, stabbed, critically hurt during clash with smiling straphanger on board NYC train: cops

A horrifying incident unfolded on a Manhattan-bound 7 train passing through the 111th Street station in Corona, Queens, on Sunday night, leaving a 25-year-old man critically wounded. The victim was attacked by a smiling straphanger who stabbed him multiple times with an unknown sharp object during a dispute between the two men.

The attacker approached the victim from behind and stabbed him once in the neck and twice in the back, causing severe injuries. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was rushed to New York Presbyterian/Queens Hospital in critical condition.
