Marty McHigh! NJ driver crashes his 1980s DeLorean, is busted with 87 bags of cocaine

Luke Randall, a 33-year-old resident of Harrington Park, New Jersey, has found himself in hot water after being arrested twice in one week for driving under the influence. What makes his case even more bizarre is the fact that he was caught behind the wheel of a vintage 1980s DeLorean, reminiscent of the iconic car from the movie “Back to the Future.”

The first incident occurred on November 3, when Randall was charged with a DUI after police observed him driving recklessly and throwing objects from his vehicle in New Milford. Just a few days later, on November 8, he was arrested again after crashing the DeLorean into a parked car while allegedly intoxicated.

When police searched the vehicle, they made a shocking discovery – 87 baggies of cocaine and several bottles of vodka. The DeLorean, made famous by the time-traveling adventures of Marty McFly in the “Back to the Future” films, was now at the center of a real-life crime scene.

Randall now faces multiple charges, including driving under the influence, careless driving, and reckless driving. His double run-in with the law has left authorities scratching their heads at the audacity of his actions.

For the New Milford Police Department, this case was truly a blast from the past. Dealing with a suspect driving a DeLorean while in a state of intoxication and in possession of illegal substances was certainly not something they encounter every day.

As Randall’s future hangs in the balance, one thing is clear – he won’t be needing roads for a while as he navigates the legal consequences of his reckless behavior. The DeLorean, once a symbol of futuristic innovation, has now become a cautionary tale of the dangers of driving under the influence.
