Michigan woman captured hurling piping hot coffee at McDonald’s worker in viral video wanted by police
A shocking incident occurred at a McDonald’s in Saginaw, Michigan, where a woman, identified as Casharra Brown, lost her temper and threw a cup of hot coffee at a McDonald’s worker. The altercation began when Brown confronted the manager, accusing them of making her wait over an hour for her online order and demanding a refund. Despite the manager’s calm response, Brown continued to berate them, calling them a liar.
In a disturbing turn of events, Brown ripped off the lid of her coffee cup, leaned over the counter, and hurled the scalding liquid at the worker’s back. The manager was left screaming in pain as Brown callously walked out of the establishment. The worker sustained minor injuries as a result of the attack.
Following the release of the video footage capturing the incident, authorities have issued a warrant for Brown’s arrest. The police received numerous tips identifying her, but she remains at large. Detectives are seeking felony assault charges against Brown for her reckless actions.
This incident bears similarities to the infamous case of Stella Liebeck in 1994, who sued McDonald’s after suffering third-degree burns from spilled hot coffee. While Liebeck’s case resulted in a significant settlement, the incident at the Saginaw McDonald’s serves as a stark reminder of the potential dangers of hot beverages and the importance of handling conflicts with restraint and respect.
