MMA fighter beats Florida home intruder black and blue to protect teen nephew

A trained mixed martial arts fighter was hailed as a hero after he defended his sister’s home in Florida from an intruder. Henny Rojas, who has been practicing MMA for three years, was staying at his relative’s home in Wilton Manors when his nephew woke him up to alert him about the unwanted guest.

Rojas wasted no time in confronting the intruder, later identified as Austin Carasani, using his fighting skills to subdue him until police arrived. Carasani, who claimed he had been drinking at a nearby club and mistakenly entered the home while looking for a friend’s house, was left with bruises and welts on his face following the takedown.

Rojas’ sister, Patrizia, and her husband were away when their son called them in a panic about the break-in. Despite the frightening situation, Rojas remained calm and focused on protecting his family.

Carasani has been charged with home invasion and is currently in custody at the Broward County Jail, with a bond set at $20,000. Rojas, on the other hand, expressed his gratitude for being able to use his skills to safeguard his loved ones.

The incident serves as a reminder to always be prepared to defend your family from potential threats. Rojas emphasized the importance of being vigilant and ready to act in times of danger. His quick thinking and training in MMA played a crucial role in ensuring the safety of his family during a terrifying ordeal.
