Motorola Moto Watch Launched with Budget Price

Motorola made a splash at CES 2026 with the launch of six new devices, including the Moto Watch. This stylish and capable smartwatch offers a budget-friendly option for consumers compared to competitors like Google and Samsung. With a starting price of just £89.99 (or £129.99 for metal and silicon strap variants), the Moto Watch is set to hit shelves in February, providing a well-rounded wearable for those on a budget.

One of the standout features of the Moto Watch is its impressive 13-day battery life, surpassing the Pixel Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 8, and Apple Watch Series 11. Despite its long-lasting battery, the Moto Watch remains affordable for most consumers. Unlike many of its competitors, the Moto Watch does not run on Google’s Wear OS platform. Instead, Motorola has partnered with Polar, a well-known brand with its own software.

Powered by Polar, the Moto Watch offers users the ability to track steps, monitor heart rate and heart rate variability, access recovery insights, and track sleep quality, among other features. It also includes continuous heart rate monitoring and dual-band GPS for more accurate route tracking. The design of the Moto Watch reflects the style of the Moto 360 models, featuring a round 47mm case, aluminum frame, stainless steel crown, and IP68 and 1ATM rating for dust and water resistance.

Additional features of the Moto Watch include a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 front, built-in microphone, speaker, and Pantone-curated bands in metal and silicone options. While the Moto Watch may lack premium features like Google Gemini and a brighter display, it offers solid value for money with its OLED panel (specific specs have not been disclosed).

Competing with other budget smartwatches on the market, such as the CMF Watch 3 Pro, Huawei Watch Fit 4, and Amazfit Active 2, Motorola aims to establish itself as one of the best affordable smartwatches available. The company also announced the Motorola Signature and Razr Fold at CES 2026, further expanding its product lineup. With its combination of price and features, the Moto Watch is poised to appeal to consumers seeking a reliable and budget-friendly smartwatch option.
