Motorola Tips Foldable Rival to Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7

Motorola is hinting at the launch of a new full-sized foldable phone to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. The company has been sending out intriguing CES invites to journalists in the form of a wooden flip book that unfolds into a book-shaped lamp with a red inner light. The invite hints at what Motorola might have in store for us, with the statement “every fold reveals a possibility” and the text “We’re getting ready to unfold new perspectives at Lenovo Tech World.”

Motorola has been a strong competitor in the compact flip phone market, most recently with the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the company to enter the book-sized foldable field. Motorola’s unique use of plush materials and curved designs has already set it apart in the foldable space.

The Razr series, known for its stylish looks, also forced Samsung to improve its game with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7. While Honor and Huawei have made strides in the full-sized foldable space with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, there is still room for Motorola to bring its design flair to the table. The wooden lamp-book invite suggests that Motorola may continue its trend of using natural finishes in its designs.

The Lenovo Tech World announcement is scheduled for January 6th, coinciding with CES. Fans can expect to see what new perspectives Motorola will unveil in the foldable phone market. Stay tuned for more updates on Motorola’s latest innovation in the world of foldable phones.
