It has been eight years since Tesla CEO Elon Musk first introduced the concept of a next-generation Roadster, drawing inspiration from the company’s initial electric vehicle in 2008.

Although the updated version has yet to enter production, Musk has once again hinted at its eventual release.

During a recent discussion with podcaster Joe Rogan, Musk alluded to a potential unveiling of the new Roadster, teasing fans and investors with the prospect of a memorable product launch.

Musk’s statements come amidst a backdrop of delays and cancellations, with even former allies like Sam Altman expressing frustration over the prolonged wait for the Roadster.

Despite facing challenges and legal disputes, Musk remains optimistic about showcasing the revamped Roadster before the year’s end.

The Roadster’s resurgence in discussions has raised speculation within the industry, with experts highlighting the model’s absence from the market in recent years.

As Musk prepares for a crucial shareholder vote, the future of Tesla and his ambitious pay package hang in the balance.
