Netflix ‘Best Guess Live’ Mobile Game Gives Away $1 Million Next Week
Netflix Launches “Best Guess Live” Mobile Game with $1 Million Prize Pool
Netflix is making waves with its new mobile game show, “Best Guess Live,” by offering a total of $1 million in cash prizes over the course of the next week. The daily jackpot, which typically sits at $15,000, will be increased to $50,000 on Monday and will continue to grow throughout the week. The highlight of the week will be on Friday, Dec. 26, when contestants will have a shot at winning a massive $500,000 jackpot.
The game show, which premiered on Dec. 8, airs weeknights at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on a dedicated Netflix “Best Guess Live” app. The hosting duties are shared between Howie Mandel from “America’s Got Talent” and Hunter March from “Sugar Rush.”
Each weekday, players are presented with two puzzles to solve. They are tasked with guessing the identity of a secret item, which could be a person, place, or thing. Through a series of five clues presented as riddles, participants must deduce the correct answer. The first individuals to correctly identify the item will split the prize pool, but each player is only allowed one guess per puzzle.
The live broadcast of the mobile game takes place from Apploff Entertainment’s offices in Los Angeles. Executive producer Jeff Apploff, known for producing shows like “Beat Shazam” and “Don’t Forget the Lyrics,” collaborated with Noah Bonnett to create the show.
During the holiday week of Monday, Dec. 22 to Friday, Dec. 26, the prize money will total $1 million. The breakdown of the holiday cash prizes is as follows:
- Mon, Dec. 22 – $50,000
- Tue, Dec. 23 – $100,000
- Wed, Dec. 24 – $150,000
- Thu, Dec. 25 – $200,000
- Fri, Dec. 26 – $500,000
