Netflix Cancels Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ‘Fubar’ After Two Seasons

Netflix has officially announced the cancellation of the Arnold Schwarzenegger-led series “Fubar” after two seasons. The show initially garnered success during its first season in 2023 but failed to maintain its momentum in the second season, which premiered on June 12, more than two years after its debut. Despite briefly making it to Nielsen’s streaming originals top 10 for the week of June 16 following its premiere, the series quickly dropped off the chart the following week.

“Fubar” follows the story of Luke Brunner, a seasoned CIA operative who finds himself confronting new adversaries after saving his daughter, who also happens to be a fellow agent. As he faces off against an old flame from his past, Luke must navigate a treacherous path to prevent her from wreaking havoc on the world and destroying his life in the process.

The star-studded cast of “Fubar” includes Arnold Schwarzenegger, Monica Barbaro, Milan Carter, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Fabiana Udenio, Aparna Brielle, Guy Burnet, Andy Buckley, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jay Baruchel, Barbara Eve Harris, and Scott Thompson. The series was created, showrun, and executive produced by Nick Santora, with additional executive producers such as Adam Higgs, Scott Sullivan, Phil Abraham, Amy Pocha, Seth Cohen, and Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell. Season 2 of “Fubar” was produced by Skydance Television.
