Netflix Plans Global Tour for Hit Movie “KPop Demon Hunters”

Netflix is gearing up for a world tour of its popular movie “KPop Demon Hunters,” following its huge success since its debut in 2025. The film, which won the Oscar for best animated feature, has broken records and become the most-watched film on Netflix. Its signature song, “Golden,” also took home the Academy Award for best original song.

The streaming giant is currently in talks with concert promoters to organize a live show featuring performances of the film’s songs. According to reports, Netflix is looking to capitalize on the success of the movie by taking it on a global concert tour.

Bloomberg News first reported the ongoing discussions about the global tour.

The tour is expected to hit major cities worldwide, with performances in arenas that can accommodate 10,000 to 20,000 attendees. The goal is to take the show on the road next year in anticipation of the sequel to the animated film.

While Netflix has not yet finalized a promoter for the tour, reports suggest that the streaming service has been offered significant upfront guarantees amounting to tens of millions of dollars. Netflix, however, has chosen not to comment on these reports.

The original movie, animated by Sony Pictures Animation, follows the story of K-pop girl trio Huntrix – Rumi, Mira, and Zoey – as they navigate their dual lives as superstars and demon hunters.
