Netflix’s ‘Assassin’s Creed’ Series Adds Noomi Rapace, More to Cast

Netflix’s upcoming “Assassin’s Creed” series continues to build its star-studded cast with the addition of four new members. Noomi Rapace, known for her roles in “Lamb” and “Prometheus,” joins the series alongside Ramzy Bedia, Sean Harris, and Corrado Invernizzi in undisclosed recurring roles.

Based on the popular video game franchise, the “Assassin’s Creed” series on Netflix is described as a high-octane thriller that delves into the secret war between two shadowy factions. One faction seeks to control and manipulate mankind’s future, while the other fights to preserve free will. The series will follow its characters through pivotal historical events as they battle to shape humanity’s destiny.

The ensemble cast also includes Toby Wallace, Lola Petticrew, Zachary Hart, Laura Marcus, and Tanzyn Crawford, with specific character details being kept under wraps for now.

Executive produced by Robert Patino and David Wiener, who also serve as showrunners, the “Assassin’s Creed” series promises to bring the beloved video game to life on the small screen. Other executive producers include Gerard Guillemot, Margaret Boykin, Austin Dill, Genevieve Jones for Ubisoft Film & Television, and Matt O’Toole.

Spanning 14 installments, the series explores the ongoing conflict between the Assassins and the Templars as they use advanced technology to access genetic memories and uncover powerful artifacts known as Pieces of Eden.
