Noah Beck Joins ‘Baywatch’ Reboot as Rookie Lifeguard
Sun’s out, guns out for Noah Beck in the upcoming “Baywatch” Reboot
Noah Beck is set to make a splash in the entertainment industry as he joins the cast of Fox’s highly anticipated “Baywatch” reboot. The TikTok sensation will be taking on the role of Luke, a rookie lifeguard with a charming personality and a passion for saving lives. Coming from a family of firefighters, Luke is described as the ultimate SoCal beach boy, who is not only a surfer and a flirt but also a dedicated lifeguard.
Joining Beck in the ensemble cast are Stephen Amell as Hobie Buchannon, Jessica Belkin as Charlie Vale, Hassie Harrison as Nat, Thaddeus LaGrone as Brad, and Brooks Nader as Selene. Fans of the original series will be delighted to see David Chokachi reprise his role as Cody Madison in the reboot.
The “Baywatch” reboot, scheduled to air on Fox during the 2026-2027 broadcast season, is helmed by showrunner Matt Nix and executive producers McG, Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto, and Mike Horowitz. Fox and Fremantle are co-producing the series, which promises to bring a fresh take on the beloved classic.
Thanks to a generous $21.1 million California state tax incentive, filming for the reboot will commence this spring in Los Angeles, with iconic locations like Venice Beach and the Fox studio lot in Century City serving as backdrops for the series. The storyline follows Hobie Buchannon, now a Baywatch captain, as he navigates the challenges of his newfound role and unexpected family revelations.
Earlier this year, Fox held a massive open casting call for the reboot, with thousands of actors vying for roles ranging from extras to series regulars. The casting process was a testament to the excitement and anticipation surrounding the revival of the beloved franchise.
Beck, known for his roles in “Sidelined” and the upcoming film “Baton,” is represented by UTA, Maxwell Mitcheson at Underscore Talent, and Goodman Genow Schenkman Smelkinson + Christopher, LLP. His foray into the world of acting is set to captivate audiences and showcase his versatile talent on the screen.
