Noah Beck Joins ‘Baywatch’ Reboot as Rookie Lifeguard
Sun’s out, guns out for Noah Beck in “Baywatch” Reboot
Noah Beck, the popular TikTok star known for his soccer skills, has joined the cast of Fox’s upcoming “Baywatch” reboot. Beck will be playing the role of Luke, a rookie lifeguard with a family background in firefighting. Described as the charming SoCal beach boy, Luke is a surfer and a flirt, but his skills in saving lives make him one of the best. His character will undergo growth and development, especially in his relationship with Hobie, whom he looks up to as a mentor and father figure.
Joining Beck in the ensemble cast are Stephen Amell as Hobie Buchannon, Jessica Belkin as Charlie Vale, Hassie Harrison as Nat, Thaddeus LaGrone as Brad, and Brooks Nader as Selene. Original series star David Chokachi will also make a return in the reboot as Cody Madison.
The “Baywatch” reboot is set to air on Fox in the 2026-2027 broadcast season. Showrunner Matt Nix leads the team of executive producers, which includes McG, Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto, and Mike Horowitz. The series is a co-production between Fox and Fremantle.
Thanks to a $21.1 million California state tax incentive, filming for “Baywatch” will commence in Los Angeles this spring, with locations including Venice Beach and the Fox studio lot in Century City. The storyline follows Hobie (Amell) as a Baywatch captain, navigating a new chapter in his life when his long-lost daughter, Charlie (Belkin), appears and wants to follow in his footsteps.
Earlier this year, Fox held an open casting call for the reboot, attracting over 2,000 actors auditioning for various roles. Beck, known for his roles in “Sidelined” and the upcoming film “Baton” directed by Danny Ramirez, is represented by UTA, Underscore Talent, and Goodman Genow Schenkman Smelkinson + Christopher, LLP.
