Nobody Wants This Season 2 Sets Release Date for October

The highly anticipated Season 2 of “Nobody Wants This” is set to premiere globally on Netflix on October 23rd. The announcement was made by the cast and crew during an Emmys FYC event for the show’s first season.
The first season of “Nobody Wants This” was loosely inspired by creator Erin Foster’s real-life story. It followed the unlikely romance between an agnostic podcaster, Joanne (played by Kristen Bell), and an unconventional rabbi, Noah (played by Adam Brody). The Season 1 finale left fans on edge as Joanne revealed she wasn’t ready to convert to Judaism, leaving the future of their relationship uncertain.
Fans of the show will be delighted to know that the original cast will be returning for Season 2, with some new additions. Leighton Meester will guest star as Abby, an Instagram mommy influencer and Joanne’s childhood nemesis. Additionally, Miles Fowler, Alex Karpovsky, and Arian Moayed will be joining the cast for the upcoming season.
Following the success of Season 1, Netflix wasted no time in renewing the rom-com series. Creator Erin Foster expressed her gratitude for the show’s reception, calling it a “career highlight.” She credited the incredible cast, crew, producers, and executives for shaping the show into what it is today.
“Nobody Wants This” has garnered a massive following since its debut in 2024, with viewers captivated by the chemistry between Joanne and Noah. For Season 2, Foster will return as an executive producer alongside her sister, Sara Foster. Newcomer Nora Silver will also join as an executive producer, with Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan serving as showrunners.
