Nothing Rumoured to be Making New Lite Smartphone
Nothing Rumored to Launch New Lite Smartphone
Nothing, a company that has already released four smartphones in 2025, is now rumored to be considering the launch of a new Lite handset. According to tipster Yogesh Brar, Nothing is exploring the possibility of adding a ‘Lite’ or ‘T’ phone to its lineup.
Brar suggests that Nothing is not satisfied with the reception of its “Pro models”. This statement is puzzling as the only ‘Pro’ phone in Nothing’s range is the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro, which is more of a mid-range device than a true flagship. Additionally, there are already models like the Nothing Phone (3a) and the CMF Phone 2 Pro in the lineup.
Nothing Phone (3) Lite?
It is possible that Brar’s hint indicates that the Nothing Phone (3), the brand’s flagship device, is not performing as well as expected. In response, a potential Nothing Phone (3) Lite or Nothing Phone (3T) could be in the works to offer a more affordable alternative with flagship-like features. This strategy may mirror the approach taken with the Nothing Phone (2) released in 2023 at a competitive starting price.
The Nothing Phone (2) combined flagship and mid-range specs, presenting a highly capable mid-range smartphone. Perhaps Nothing aims to reclaim its position in the mid-range market segment with a new Lite model.

Nothing at a Crossroads
While details are scarce at this point, speculations arise about Nothing’s direction with the upcoming smartphone release. The Nothing Phone (3) has been hailed as an exciting flagship device, but falls short in comparison to competitors like the Google Pixel 9 and Samsung Galaxy S25 in practical aspects.
As the market evolves, the possibility of an Ultra model being as appealing as a Lite variant remains to be seen. Only time will tell how Nothing navigates this crossroads in the ever-changing smartphone landscape.
