NYC mom stabbed ’50 times,’ left to die by deranged ex who lurked in NYC stairwell for hours: sources

A tragic incident unfolded in a Harlem building early Monday morning, as a mother of four was brutally stabbed and left to die by her ex-boyfriend. The horrifying attack took place in a six-story rental building on West 129th Street, where the victim was found by a building porter covered in blood and clinging to life near the elevator on the third floor.

The 47-year-old woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, cried out her attacker’s name as he mercilessly stabbed her multiple times. Despite her pleas for him to stop, the assailant callously left her lying in a pool of blood in the hallway. The porter, Lyron Middleton, discovered the injured woman while cleaning the staircase and immediately called 911 for help.

Emergency medical services rushed the critically wounded victim to Mount Sinai Morningside hospital, where she tragically succumbed to her injuries. Middleton’s boss attempted to show him surveillance footage of the attack, but he could not bring himself to watch the graphic video and only listened to the audio.
