NYC restaurant customer shoots 2, including bartender
A disturbing incident unfolded at El Cerrito del Carmen Restaurant in Gravesend, Brooklyn, on Saturday night when a disgruntled customer returned after being kicked out and opened fire, injuring two individuals, including the female bartender who had asked him to leave.
The chaos erupted around 9:41 p.m. as gunshots rang out in the restaurant located at 2024 McDonald Ave. The gunman targeted a 29-year-old man who was shot in the arm and a 27-year-old woman who was grazed on the back by a bullet. It was reported that the bartender had ejected the suspect for disruptive behavior before he retaliated with violence upon his return.
Following the shooting, both victims were swiftly transported to Maimonides Medical Center by EMS where they are currently in stable condition. The perpetrator, who fled the scene after the attack, remains at large as law enforcement authorities launch an investigation into the incident.
