NYPD footage captures callous home invaders who allegedly posed as Amazon workers, tied up mom, dad and 3 kids

The recent home invasion in Queens, where a family was tied up by intruders posing as Amazon workers, has shocked the community. The New York Police Department has released footage of the two suspects, one carrying an Amazon box and the other wearing a bright-yellow vest, as they calmly walked down the residential street in Whitestone.
The incident took place on Monday morning when the 43-year-old homeowner opened the door to the perpetrators, who rushed inside with a gun. The family, which included two women, two boys aged 10 and 5, and an 18-year-old, was forced into the basement. The suspects tied them up and covered their mouths with duct tape before ransacking the home. They stole approximately $16,000 in cash, jewelry, and electronic devices before fleeing in the victim’s silver Chrysler minivan, which was found abandoned nearby.
Eyewitnesses described the harrowing scene, with one witness recalling how the father emerged from the house with duct tape on his face, indicating that his children were still in the basement. The brazen nature of the crime has left the community shaken, and the NYPD is actively seeking information to apprehend the suspects.
