NYPD searching for creep who snuck into elderly woman’s apartment, groped her during pervy pajama heist
Disturbing Home Invasion in Brooklyn Leaves Elderly Woman Assaulted and Robbed
In a shocking incident, a thieving criminal broke into the home of a 71-year-old woman in Brooklyn while she was asleep, assaulting her and stealing her pajama pants. The horrifying ordeal took place in the early hours of August 30th at the woman’s residence on Berriman Street and Liberty Avenue in Cypress Hills.
According to authorities, the perpetrator gained entry into the victim’s apartment through a kitchen window around 2:15 a.m. He proceeded to choke the elderly woman, sexually assault her, and inexplicably only took her pajama pants before fleeing the scene. The victim, left traumatized by the attack, was later taken to Kings County Hospital Center for treatment and was reported to be in stable condition.
The suspect, described as a male individual, managed to escape on foot, heading south on Atkins Avenue, evading capture by law enforcement. Despite efforts to locate and apprehend the assailant, the NYPD has not yet been successful in identifying or apprehending the perpetrator.
Authorities have released video footage and images of the suspect, depicting him wearing a dark-colored T-shirt, gray sweatpants, and black and white sneakers while walking on the sidewalk. The public is urged to come forward with any information that may lead to the arrest of the criminal responsible for this heinous crime.
