Oklahoma woman kidnapped, raped, sodomized by Guatemala illegal migrants Luis Miguel Dominguez-Barrios, Jose Fernando-Lux Morales
Illegal Migrants from Guatemala Charged with Rape, Sodomy, and Kidnapping
Two individuals, identified as illegal migrants from Guatemala currently residing in the US, have been charged with rape, aggravated sodomy, and kidnapping after allegedly abducting a woman from an Oklahoma casino. The victim reported being taken against her will from the First Council Casino & Resort in Newkirk, Oklahoma, and subsequently assaulted while being transported to Arkansas City, Kansas.
One of the suspects, Luis Miguel Dominguez-Barrios, entered the country illegally in 2013 and had a history of prior arrests for offenses including disorderly conduct, domestic violence, and threatening a law enforcement officer. The other suspect, Jose Fernando-Lux Morales, crossed the southern border illegally as an unaccompanied minor in 2018.

Dominguez-Barrios is currently held on a $1 million bond, facing charges of rape, aggravated criminal sodomy, and aggravated kidnapping. His co-accused, Fernando-Lux Morales, has a bond set at $500,000 for aggravated kidnapping.
The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has issued arrest detainers for both suspects to prevent their release and ensure compliance with immigration laws. Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin of the Department of Homeland Security emphasized the importance of holding criminals accountable for their actions and protecting American citizens from such violent offenders.

As part of a concerted effort to address the issue of illegal immigration and criminal activities, DHS has ramped up deportation and arrest efforts, resulting in the apprehension and removal of hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens. The agency has also launched a recruitment drive to hire additional ICE agents to support enforcement actions and maintain public safety.
While the Arkansas City, Kansas police department and the First Council Casino & Resort in Oklahoma declined to comment on the ongoing investigation, the case highlights the challenges and consequences associated with illegal immigration and criminal behavior.
