Paramount+ Signs Marketing Deal With Arsenal Soccer Club
Paramount+ Expands Partnership with Arsenal Following Champion League Deal
A week after securing the rights to broadcast Champion League matches in the U.K., Paramount+ has announced a new partnership with Arsenal, the current Premier League leaders. This collaboration will see the team’s players, club legends, and supporters come together to celebrate some of Paramount+’s iconic series.
The agreement includes collaborations on social media campaigns and featuring Paramount+ branding inside the stadium, on big screens, matchday programs, and other experiences and activations. Popular series such as “Landman” and “MobLand” will be highlighted during the partnership.
To mark the occasion, Paramount+ released a promotional video titled “For the Love of the Team,” narrated by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, who currently works as a pundit for CBS Sports.
Marco Nobili, executive vice president and international general manager of Paramount+, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “We’re beyond excited to unite Paramount+ and Arsenal– two global iconic brands with supporters that live and breathe passion. With hit series like ‘SpongeBob,’ ‘South Park,’ ‘Landman,’ ‘Yellowstone,’ and more, we’re creating experiences that celebrate teamwork, elevate the game, and connect supporters.”
This collaboration comes on the heels of Paramount’s recent entry into the U.K. soccer landscape after winning the auction to broadcast most Champions League matches from 2027 to 2031. The company outbid current rights holders TNT with a reported offer significantly higher than the $1.3 billion paid by TNT.
