Patients with EPP, disorder that causes pain in sunlight, worry about drug access

Ginger Gonsalves and Becky Kelliher didn’t let the cold November weather stop them from enjoying the sunshine in Gonsalves’ backyard in Weymouth, Mass. Despite the chilly wind, they embraced the outdoors, not willing to retreat inside.

As they ventured outside, Gonsalves commented on how her eyes were watering uncontrollably. Kelliher jokingly attributed it to Gonsalves’ light eyes, causing both of them to laugh.

The two friends were enjoying a relaxing day together, soaking up the sun and making the most of their time outdoors. The crisp air added a refreshing touch to their day, and they didn’t mind the cold as long as the sun was shining.

Their laughter echoed through the backyard as they shared stories and enjoyed each other’s company. It was moments like these that made them grateful for the simple joys in life, like spending time with a good friend on a beautiful day.

As they sat outside, basking in the sunlight, Gonsalves and Kelliher felt a sense of peace and contentment. The worries of the world seemed to fade away, replaced by a feeling of serenity and connection to the natural world around them.

Despite the cold and wind, Gonsalves and Kelliher were happy to be outside, embracing the beauty of the day and the warmth of their friendship. They knew that moments like these were precious and worth savoring, no matter the weather.

It was a day to remember, a day filled with laughter, friendship, and the simple joy of being in the moment. And as the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the backyard, Gonsalves and Kelliher knew that they had created a memory that would last a lifetime.
