Philly man was behind hidden bathroom spy cams, cops say

The perpetrator responsible for placing pen-shaped spy cameras inside boardwalk bathrooms on the Jersey Shore has been apprehended by the authorities. Harold Perkins, aged 38, has been charged with six counts each of invasion of privacy and endangering the welfare of a child by manufacturing child pornography. The arrest took place at his residence in Philadelphia on June 20, following an investigation into the disturbing incident.

The covert cameras were discreetly planted by Perkins on the floors of public restrooms along the Ocean City boardwalk. The first camera was discovered on June 12 behind a garbage can in one of the bathrooms, prompting a thorough search of other facilities where additional spy cameras were found.
