The search for Savannah Guthrie’s kidnapped mother, Nancy Guthrie, continues as law enforcement in Arizona provides an update on the ongoing investigation into her abduction.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department has completed processing Nancy’s Tucson-area home for evidence both inside and outside. The residence has now been returned to the Guthrie family.

Despite Savannah’s absence from ‘TODAY’ as the investigation progresses, the PCSD remains in constant communication with the Guthrie family, keeping them informed of any developments.

There is currently no credible information suggesting that Nancy was specifically targeted for abduction.

TMZ received an alleged ransom note demanding a substantial sum in Bitcoin for Nancy’s safe return. The PCSD is working in conjunction with the FBI regarding this ransom note.

DNA evidence collected from Nancy’s home has been sent for testing, although no conclusive leads have been identified thus far.

Investigators believe that Nancy was taken against her will during the night, but details regarding any potential injuries remain undisclosed. Footage showing blood on her front porch has been observed.

Nancy’s home was equipped with surveillance cameras, some of which seem to have been removed. Detectives are collaborating with the family and home-security companies to assess the availability of any footage.

Approximately 100 detectives, including a search and rescue unit, are actively involved in the case. The PCSD is also working alongside the FBI and other law enforcement agencies to assist in the investigation.

President Trump has expressed his willingness to allocate additional federal resources to aid in the search for Nancy Guthrie.

While no suspects have been identified thus far, the PCSD is awaiting further forensic results to progress the investigation.

The next media briefing is scheduled for Thursday, with updates expected to be announced before then. Stay tuned for any developments in the case.
