Pope Leo XIV’s MAGA Brother Gets White House Blessing From Trump
Louis Prevost, self-described as a “MAGA-type” and older brother of the new Pope Leo XIV, along with his wife Deborah, had a meeting at the White House with President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance on Tuesday. The details of their discussion remain undisclosed.
In a recent interview with Piers Morgan, Prevost admitted to enjoying stirring controversy, much like President Trump. He expressed his enjoyment in engaging in debates with individuals from opposing views. However, he mentioned that he would tone down his rhetoric following his brother’s papal election, stating, “I don’t need to create heat for him.”
A U.S. Navy veteran residing in Florida, Prevost attended the pope’s inaugural mass at The Vatican alongside second lady Usha Vance and Vice President JD Vance, who is a Catholic convert. During the mass, Pope Leo XIV emphasized the importance of rejecting hatred and division. Louis also participated in the U.S. delegation’s meeting with the pope the following day.
Vance extended an invitation to the pope to visit America on an official trip, showcasing the strong relationship between the Vatican and the United States.
