President Trump hints at ‘Biden Autopen’ portrait in new White House ‘Wall of Fame’ gallery: report
President Trump has revealed his plans to troll ex-President Joe Biden with an “autopen portrait” in a new White House gallery he’s calling the “Presidential Wall of Fame.” The two-time commander in chief shared his intention to mock his successor-predecessor with a portrait featuring the notorious autopen in a newly conceived gallery that is being constructed in the Rose Garden.
“It’s a decision I have to make. We put up a picture of the autopen,” Trump mentioned in an interview with the Daily Caller. He shared a mock-up of what the “Biden Autopen” portrait would look like in his special gallery.
“I gotta do it,” Trump stated. “Same picture, but black and white. Yeah, and I’m not using that one with the smile.” While the outlet did not publish a photo of the mock-up or share details on its appearance, Trump predicted that it would cause quite a stir.
The White House announced an investigation into Biden’s use of the autopen back in July. Tens of thousands of documents were turned over by the National Archives Records Administration, focusing on communications and other records related to Biden’s use of the autopen.
“What did the former president direct, versus what he did not,” questioned a Trump administration official. “The only time a legitimate use of the autopen should happen is if the president said he wanted something done, or if he was asked for his approval.”
In the interview with the Daily Caller, Trump also commented on Biden’s presidency and his prostate cancer diagnosis, calling him a “horrible president” and questioning the validity of his Stage Nine cancer diagnosis.
“It’s not clear when the “Presidential Wall of Fame” will be constructed and unveiled, but the administration has made it a priority to revamp the White House grounds in the first year of Trump’s second term,” the article states. Construction on a $200 million White House ballroom is set to begin in September, as Trump announced last month.
The president has also recently called out a subcontractor who damaged custom limestone in the Rose Garden with poorly handled gardening equipment. The “Presidential Wall of Fame” and the potential “Biden Autopen” portrait are sure to be controversial additions to the White House gallery.
