The Trump Organization recently announced the launch of Trump Mobile, a new mobile phone plan paired with a $499 smartphone set to debut in September.

Trump Mobile will feature a $47.45-per-month plan offering unlimited talk, text, data, roadside assistance, and a “Telehealth and Pharmacy Benefit,” as detailed on its website.

Additionally, the company, led by President Donald Trump, will introduce the “T1” smartphone, boasting a gold-colored metal case adorned with an American flag.

This latest business endeavor reflects Trump’s knack for leveraging his brand while in office.

The wireless service, dubbed “The 47 Plan,” pays homage to Trump’s presidential terms as the 45th and 47th U.S. president. The website for the upcoming phone prominently displays Trump’s campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again.”

Similar to previous product launches tied to Trump, such as watches, sneakers, and Bibles, the telecommunications venture primarily involves a licensing agreement.

The Trump Mobile website clarifies that “Trump Mobile, its products and services are not designed, developed, manufactured, distributed or sold by The Trump Organization or any of their respective affiliates or principals.”

Despite ethical concerns raised by critics regarding Trump’s licensing deals, the president and his family continue to seize profitable opportunities to expand their business ventures with minimal financial or political repercussions.

In 2024, Trump reported earning over $8 million from various licensing agreements.

Comparatively, the 47 Plan may be pricier than similar offerings from established carriers like Visible and Mint Mobile. Trump Mobile assures customers of nationwide coverage and U.S.-based customer service support.

Major carriers Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T have yet to comment on the Trump Organization’s new phone plan.

The T1 phone offered by Trump Mobile boasts features such as an Android 15 operating system, a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen, a 16-megapixel selfie camera, 12 gigabytes of RAM, 256 gigabytes of internal storage, and a 50-megapixel main camera.
