Ray J Says Porn CEO Will Testify Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner Released Sex Tape
Ray J, the singer who rose to fame for his hit single “Sexy Can I,” is back in the headlines once again. This time, he’s embroiled in a legal battle with none other than Kim Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner, over the infamous sex tape that catapulted Kim to stardom. Ray J claims he has a major witness who will prove once and for all who was behind the release of the tape.
According to Ray J’s lawyer, Howard King, if Kim and Kris continue to deny their involvement in working with Vivid Entertainment boss Steve Hirsch to release the tape, they are prepared to call Hirsch himself to testify. Both Kim and Kris have filed sworn declarations stating that they did not mastermind the plan to shoot, sell, and release the tape titled “Kim Kardashian Superstar.” However, King alleges that they are lying under oath.
King insists that Hirsch could confirm the role that Kim and Kris played in orchestrating the tape’s rollout back in 2007. He also issued a warning to Kim, stating that making false statements under oath could lead to criminal perjury prosecution, especially if she plans to pursue a career in law in the future.
It is important to note that legally, Vivid could not have released the sex tape without the consent of both Ray J and Kim. The current dispute revolves around the extent of Kim and Kris’s involvement in the deal. Kris has vehemently denied any involvement in the “commercial exploitation” of her daughter through the sex tape.
In past interviews, Hirsch has claimed that Kris had no role in selling the tape. However, the ongoing legal battle between Ray J, Kim, and Kris has led to a lawsuit and countersuit being filed. Kim and Kris sued Ray J for defamation in October, and he retaliated with a countersuit, alleging that they violated a settlement agreement that prohibited anyone involved from discussing the sex tape publicly.
Despite reaching out to representatives for Kim and Kris for comment, they declined to provide a statement on the matter. As the legal drama continues to unfold, it remains to be seen who will come out on top in this high-profile dispute over the release of the infamous sex tape.
